12:47 p.m.- Frantically, walking up and down in my three inch heels on the bricked streets of the distillery district looking for Building 58. Down an aisle, nope…down this alley way, nope. 12:52 p.m. – Ok, let me check the map, map says Opera something or another…still can’t find it. Time is running out, I can’t be late! The JesseRowes Debut Collection Fashion Show starts at 1:00pm!

Let me ask someone, I enter a store, “Do you know where I can find Building 58?” No sorry…

I miss you Joe!

I look to my right and there stands a stuffed elephant in leather with the truck facing upwards. Feng shui practitioners believe that elephants should have their trunks facing upwards as that represents prosperity, good luck and victory. But that’s not what I thought when I saw the elephant. I thought of my angel, Joe. Every time he saw an elephant with its truck up, he had to buy it. I smile…I know he’s here with me…I want to buy it. The store clerk tells me, it’s actually an ottoman (cool), I get distracted by memories of my Joe. I snap out of it…I have to find the JesseRowes Fashion Show!

I saw the sign!

I leave the store, walk 4 steps and literally…there was the sign that I passed 7 times already!

I’m here!

I introduce myself as PepperBrooks, she finds my name on the list and presents me with a swag bag and my media pass.

I’m in!
I look around, so much character, ambiance, class and elegance! I’m impressed!
